~One last small anecdote. Fred and Beattie Streeter were married on 19/7/1919 which was, app arently, the day the peace was finally signed for the first world war. As I remember the ol d boy saying many years ago - one war ended and another one started !
~ She (Betty Streeter) told me that her father talked a bout a cousin Fred Streeter who
published a book on gardening and that he had appeared on television in the 60''s or
70''s. Apparently Catherine ended up with this book.
