William Meade from "The Mermaid and Mitre Taverns" by Kenneth Rogers
1617/8 William Meade granted the freedom of the company of Vintners. He had been the apprentice of George Harrison.
1618 - 1621 William Meade in the parish register of St Margaret Moses as the proprietor of the White Horse Tavern in Friday Street, almost opposite the door to the Mermaid. His children born in St Margaret Moses:

1629 William Meade vintner dwelling in the Mermaid. This tavern had previously been the venue for The Friday Club, a meetingplace for William Shakespeare, Ben Jonson, Sir Walter Raleigh, etc.

1631 Fuller Meade, brother of William Meade vintner, buried in St Margaret Moses
1637 William Meade mortgages his lease of the Mermaid to Richard Fuller
Apparently William Meade had difficulties in Puritan London, which disapproved of both theatre and taverns.
